To celebrate the electrification of 3 of its bus fleets in York, Leicester and Norwich and they’re full net zero verification, this film is to demonstrate how they will tackle the remaining road ahead and the steps that will be taken to become net zero across the board.

With an arsenal of footage and the opportunity to capture even more, we knew the best approach for this was to combine footage with key words, whilst a supporting VO helps each caption go a little more in depth.

We put together a storyboard to show not only the shot flow but how each caption would be integrated into a 3D world, when visiting so many depots this helped us narrow down the type of shots we needed so no time was wasted.

The client had also just gone through a rebrand so we were able to use this to spark ideas in ways to integrate some more colourful elements into the video.

Once the storyboard had been approved We began filming across a number of depots throughout the country, keeping in mind to keep them as wide as possible allowing us to integrate the captions in post so they could sit within the 3D world.

We then tied all this together with a “travel line” this was inspired from the new brand and became a way to show the continuing journey and tie everything together
